Söderfors Mill located on the banks of the Dalälven river. Söderfors mill has many old buildings that are cared for by Söderfors hembygdsförening.

Söderfors was founded in 1676 by the quarry master Claes Depken (noble Anckarström) for the manufacture of anchors for the navy. Söderfors mill is one in northern Uppland. The older mill buildings are now declared building monuments.
