The Uppland coast with its varying nature in form of protected coves, cliffs, rocky islets and sea, attracts fishing for, among other things, sea trout, pike and perch.
One of the Sweden's best salmon and sea trout waters is found in the lower Dalälven river by Älvkarleby. Further up in the river you will find both nice stream waters, with the chance to catch grayling and trout, and large bays that offer high quality fishing for large pike and pike-perch in magnificent environments.
