Vendels hembygdsförening
Vendels hembygdsförening was founded in 1922. The purpose was and is to nurture and make visible Vendels history, culture and environment to provide a natural foundation for a good life.
The association works to deepen the knowledge of and feeling for the homeland's cultural heritage and nature and pass it on to future generations.
The association owns and manages several buildings
- Mariebergsskolan,
- Agricultural Museum
- Vendeltidsmuseum
- The windmill in Hovgårdsberg.
The magazine Vendelkråkan has been published with an issue every year since 1977.
