About the house
This is a beautifully renovated ironwork owner-style villa of 250 sqm from the beginning of the last century located by the Dalälven river. Opposite the house, on the other side of the river, are the blast furnaces from the old ironworks dating from the 17th century. Söderfors is still alive with business.
Our business
Villa Granvik B&B has five rooms with individual characters. For larger parties, we also serve food, e.g. a three-course dinner. You are also welcome to book your celebration with us, Family party is our speciality.
We are happy to keep our shop and flea market open to guests. It is also possible to book guided tours in Söderfors during the stay - a tour, a visit to Gammelgården and/or Änkehuset.
Our rooms
We offer five beautiful and spacious double rooms with individual characters and a maid's room with a double bed, which provides a total of 12 beds. If needed, there are also five simpler extra beds.
There is a bathroom with a lion paws tub and floor in Cararra marble, a shower room with Cararra marble and two toilets.
You can also use the large white romantic kitchen and other rooms for socialising – a dining room, library and a hall with fireplace and piano.
