Ice skating
Norduppland offers good conditions for successful trips on long-distance skates when winter and the cold visit.
Glide forward over mirror-shiny ice with radiant winter sun and a clear blue sky with quiet, almost silent skerries.
It is important that someone in the group has the right knowledge about long-distance skating. Knowledge of the ice, how the weather affects the ice, and what to do if someone is fussing.
If you are a beginner, we recommend that you contact Friluftsfrämjandet and take an introductory course and learn the basics.
