During World War II, around 70,000 Finnish war children were sent to Sweden. It meant that hundreds of thousands of lives changed, in both countries. The most intimate source of these upheavals are the letters that the mothers and foster mothers exchanged and which have been made available to the researcher Ann Nehlin.
