Personal data refers to any kind of information that can be attributed directly or indirectly to a natural person in life. Here we describe what personal information we collect, from where we collect it and why we collect the information.
Collection of personal data
We handle the information we collect, including personal information, to fulfill our statutory requirements, for the exercise of authority or to offer a service. In cases where there are no other legal requirements as a legal basis, your consent may be needed for us to be able to process your personal data. You can always revoke your consent if you change your mind.
GPS position and iBeacons
The app asks for your location info to be able to locate you via GPS when using the map function. If you choose to activate site services and notification options, iBeacons can be used to find location and nearby points of interest and for routes and behavior to be collected to improve the service.
Visit Statistics
We collect information to get statistics on the use of Upplev Norduppland. The purpose is to be able to develop and improve the app. The information is not directly linked to you as a person. Legal grounds are legitimate interest.
For collection, we use the Google Analytics tool.
Editors
Editors need their own account. We will then request a consent to collect the following information:

Processing of collected personal data
Personal data collected for processing in our registers or in processes is handled by personnel employed at the municipalities of Tierp and Älvkarelby. In some cases, we assist the service providers for our IT systems and apps. These service providers may only process your personal information in accordance with our instructions. They are also required to take technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data to the same extent as we do.

Storage time
The App Experience Norduppland saves your company and personal information for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes of our processing of your personal data. All raw data that we collect for app and network usage and data related to your mobile device is automatically deleted after it has been converted to processed statistics. The statistics per se may be saved for a longer period as it does not contain personal data.
If you uninstall your app, the ID associated with your installation of the app will be deleted. We can process your information longer than stated above if necessary due to legal requirements or governmental decisions.
Your rights
You have the right to request information about which personal information is processed about you, a so-called registry extract. You have the right to request that personal data that have not been processed in accordance with the Data Protection Ordinance be corrected, blocked or deleted. However, the right to delete personal data does not apply to personal data that must be preserved based on legal requirements. Contact the Data Protection Officer for more information.
